If you can’t make it to one of our maker and creative sessions, why not try out our handmade Creatable Activity Kits?
We have four to choose from:
Small Worlds - create and build on your own mini world where you can role play and imagine all you ever dreamed.
Hammer Printing - a hands on printing kit for the young and young at heart - create your own botanical printed cards, even hammer print a scarf or pillow case.
Adventure Pack - what creatures lie in the cracks and shadows of our world? What are their lives like? Make your creature story using a handmade zine and your powers of observation.
Me-mor-able Memory Game - craft you very own memory card game where your memories are the star attraction.
ALL kits can be added to. For example, you can:
collect more elements to grow your small world;
hammer print on material and cards to create gifts for others;
adventure far and wide with your adventure pack; and
add more memory cards to your Me-mor-able game

Our kits focus on child-led play and making. Play is the single most powerful tool in a child’s repertoire to understand their world, build confidence and learn great things.
Creative ‘Habits of Mind’ (Lucas, et al., 2013) continue to frame these play experiences as the child develops and gains life experience. We wrote about this some time back - it’s worth another read we think!
We know that if children are given space to create and play they will be able to take on the world with love and kindness, confidence and focus.
